Final Power Rankings and Predictions

Is this what you guys think of me?

Ok, you might be right.  I caved in to peer pressure.  The masses asked for it, so they got it.  I spent a good amount of time on this entry, and I actually do believe it will be the last of the season, in spite of how much more you all may beg.  So since there will be no predictions, I will give you my prediction stats for the year here:

Week 12 Predictions Record: (3-3)
Overall Predictions Record: (44-34)

And my predictions for the playoffs?

Week 14:
Seenie J over DeMarco Da Murrier
Unicorn Burps over Spider Pig
Charlotte Hornets over Terrific Tortoises
#myteamSUCKS over I'm Coming Home.

Week 15:
Seenie J over Unicorn Burps
#myteamSUCKS over Charlotte Hornets

Championship:
#myteamSUCKS over Seenie J

Yes, I really do think Eric can, and will, win it all.  If anyone else wants to, they can enter into a playoff bracket pool with me.  I'll take entries up until the Thursday night game this week.  I'm willing to pay no more than $5, though.  Hey, still easy money playaz.

Final Power Rankings

1. Seenie J (9-4) [2]

Jeff's team has won the regular season, with much help from solid draft picks Andrew Luck ($15!) and Matt Forte.  His pickup of Jeremy Maclin was pretty crucial, seeing as how the rest of his WRs were terrible (he's still starting Michael Crabtree??).  I will not hesitate to point out, though, that he has the second-lowest "Points Against" of the season, behind only Duke (more on him later).  According to my own calculations, his Strength of Schedule was 12th in the league (which means he had the easiest schedule).  After all, he did go up against Aaron and Duke twice.  However, to be fair, his team finished with a league-best 1368.98 in "Points For."  So one could argue that it wasn't his fault that the teams he was up against didn't score much - he still got the job done by scoring more than any other team over the course of the season.  I will refer you to this amazing article written by one of our brilliant managers if you'd like further clarification on that topic.  But to think, Jeff pulled this all off somehow without this guy:

Never gets old.

2. Charlotte Hornets (8-5) [1]

Abraham's team goes against any conventional fantasy football wisdom (or lack of) I may have gleaned over the past 12 years.  Building around the backbone of WR superstars (Antonio Brown, Randall Cobb, Mike Evans, Alshon Jeffery) - the strongest corps in our league, if I may argue - he's been able to put together a strong sophomore season without consistent performance in any of the other relevant positional categories (Kickers don't count).  His highest-scoring RB (Branden Oliver) is 32nd in scoring in the league!  The most logical conclusion I can come to is he's been managing the crap out of his team, and it's paid off.  Or sorcery of some sort.

3. Unicorn Burps (8-5) [3]

David was simply meant to lose to my team.  Twice.  That shouldn't detract from the solid season he built, though.  He managed to work the waiver and trade lines without any FAAB money for the majority of the season, and I think it worked out OK for him.  He's probably still wishing he hadn't spent all $100 on 5 players that he no longer has on his team (Kirk Cousins $30, Brian Quick $25 [trade bait], Larry Donnell $20 [trade bait], Justin Hunter $10, and Andre Holmes $15 - no I'm not letting you live down Kirk Cousins for $30).  But going in to the playoffs, he's got a chance of making a deep run - maybe not due to the strength of his team, but due to the weaknesses of all the other teams (Similarities to the NBA's Eastern Conference, anyone?).  He did end up having the 2nd easiest Strength of Schedule (playing me and David Li twice), but I think he just ended up with some unfavorable matchups, which could account for at least 3 of his losses.

4. I'm Coming Home. (9-4) [4]

Here's something that has me scratching my head.  Duke managed to finish the regular season in 2nd place overall, even though his team only scored 7 more points over the course of the regular season than mine did (I finished 9th).  Obviously, his success was largely due to his league-low "Points Against" BUT I have to point out that according to my calculations, he had the hardest Strength of Schedule in our whole league (the two teams he played twice were Jeff and Abraham).  All sorts of head scratching still going on.

5. Spider Pig (7-6) [5]

Of all the teams that made the playoffs, with the exception of David Li's miracle of a team (more on this later), Luke has had the worst final 6 weeks of the season.  He's lost 4 of his last 6 games (tied with Justina, and only one more win than Andrew), ranked 3rd-worst in "Points For" in that time span (behind only Andrew and David Li), and has resorted to starting Benny Cunningham at RB2 (2nd only to David Li starting Johnny Manziel - again, more on that later).  And the thing is, trading for Peyton Manning and LeSean McCoy actually HELPED his team.  Yet his team still sits at 5th in the league and in my rankings.  Luke would like to thank his 5-2 record to start the season for that.

6. #myteamSUCKS (6-7) [6]

Talk about a late-season run.  Eric is only one of three teams to win 4 or more of the last 6 games (the other two teams: Duke and Jeff).  And not only did he win, but he scored 2nd highest or more during each winning week, resulting in the most "Points For" in the last 6 weeks... and did anyone notice that he's 2nd in "Points For" for the whole season???  I think it's safe to say he'll be carrying that momentum into the playoffs.  And similar to another top-4 team (Abraham), Eric has done all these with some patchwork RBs.  It's amazing what WRs can do for your fantasy football team these days...

7. DeMarco Da Murrier (6-7) [7]

A struggling Justina's team decided to pull out the big guns in the final week and romp her way into the playoffs.  Well played.  Without that last win, you would have joined Andrew in the lonely 5-losses-in-the-last-6-games hearts club band.  Instead, you're just with Luke in the not-so-lonely 4-losses-in-the-last-6-games duo.  And more importantly, with 7 other teams in the playoffs.  Unfortunately, I have no other good stats for you except congrats on drafting the most dominant RB in fantasy football this season.  You definitely could have done worse (AKA Luke and Adrian Peterson for $70 ROFLMAO).

8. Odoyle rules! (6-7) [9]

Because I write this blog, I'm going to tell myself I belonged in the playoffs.  My team had a terrible 4-game losing streak in the middle of the season that ended up shooting myself in both feet and arms, and desperation called for some questionable decision-making in my trading and dropping of players.  I ended the season with some ups and downs, and that's just how the game is played, folks.

9. The Pain Train (5-8) [8]

Does anyone remember who won the championship last season?  I'm curious to know who Gabs would have kept and if that would have changed the course of this season.  LeSean McCoy?  Eddie Lacy?  Dez Bryant?  Julius Thomas?  Philip Rivers?  After seeing those names, I'm going to go with... No, it would not have changed the course of his season.  Although Gabs's woes came mostly in the first 5 weeks, he didn't have enough left in the tank to overcome those woes and make our (AKA The NBA Eastern Conference) playoffs.

10. Terrific Tortoises (7-6) [12]

He did it.  He made the playoffs.  With a league-low 1118.30 "Points For" (that's an average of 86.02 points per game!  Even the Philadelphia 76ers are averaging more points per game than that!... 91.5, in case you were wondering), he finished the season among the top 8.  From Week 7 onward, his team scored 5th lowest or worse in each of the games (2 games @ 5th lowest, 2 games @ 3rd lowest, 1 game @ 2nd lowest, and 2 games @ absolute lowest).  And yet they finished that 7-week stretch with a 4-3 record (which included a 0.30-point margin of victory over his Bae), and a ticket to the big dance.  I'm not sure I can spin it any other way - it's pretty much a Cinderella story of Cinderella stories.  Here's to hoping that story continues... Oh what?? Starting Johnny Manziel??  Nevermind.

11. Chou Chainz (4-9) [10]

Aaron had some kick in his team during the last half of the season, going 3-3 in the last 6 games.  But his abominable 1-6 record in the first 7 games held him down too much.  In all fairness, his team had the 2nd hardest Strength of Schedule (playing Gabs and Jeff twice), but it honestly all broke down the minute Yahoo! autodrafted for him.  He spent a combined $65 on Zac Stacy and C.J. Spiller.  #2014Lulz

12. OUCHsoclose (3-10) [11]

Jamaal going down was a dagger that Andrew just couldn't fully recover from.  It's ok, doing poorly happens to almost all first-year managers in this league, for some reason.  Just look at Abraham and Duke - they were pretty much in your position last year, and look where they are now.  I will say, though, the added smack talkery and banter coming from Andrew was a much-welcomed addition to our league.

Predictions: Week 13

Week 12 Predictions Record: (3-3)
Overall Predictions Record: (41-31)

One more week left of the regular season!  And the post-season fates of 5 teams remain in the balance.  Too much drama to handle.  My heart willith not stop fluttering.

*~*Game Of The Week*~*

I was torn between Abraham v. Duke and this game for the GOTW, but since this game is make-or-break, the stakes are a bit higher.  Plus, I feel like more people in our league would be more interested in following this game than Abraham-Duke.

The Pain Train v. #myteamSUCKS
Before last week, I thought this would be a sure win for Eric.  Now, I'm not so sure.  Lacy has been doing really well as of late, and Gabs has been finding ways to win.  However, his team has been pretty streaky, in spite of it looking better than it did the first half of the season.  Eric's team has been a little more consistent and still looks better on paper.  I'll have to go with my gut on this one.  Eric makes it to the playoffs in spite of his rollercoaster ride in getting there.

Winner: #myteamSUCKS

Remaining Games

Odoyle rules! v. Unicorn Burps
I want to hope I can pull a quick one on David, but I don't think my chances are looking too good.  The way his WRs have been playing, plus the prospect of Arian Foster lighting it up... it'll be too much for my sorry team to handle.  It's only fitting that the final dagger in my fantasy team is thrust into my gut by Tom Butthole and Co.  Yet another season failing to make the playoffs for Odoyle - go figure.

Winner: Unicorn Burps

OUCHsoclose v. Terrific Tortoises
Andrew is now in the business of ruining people's playoff hopes.  Next victim: David Li.  David's making a pretty ballsy move in starting Charles Johnson (Megatron's cousin?) over Sammy Watkins and Percy Harvin, but desperate times call for desperate measures.  And who knows, it could pay off big time - it's a big gamble, but it's not a bad move.  I just think Jamaal Charles is too strongman right now to let Andrew down in his endeavor to dash people's fantasy hopes.

Winner: OUCHsoclose

Tom Butthole

Seenie J v. Chou Chainz
Jeff's got more to play for (regular season championship), and Aaron's late-season run was short-lived, unfortunately.  I've got my moniez on Seenie.

Winner: Seenie J

DeMarco Da Murrier v. Spider Pig
Justina's team has all but lost steam in spite of its star namesake player.  My lame excuse for a team gave her a last breath of hope last week, but Luke's team looks too strong to falter as mine did.  Hey, I didn't know Reggie Bullock plays Kicker for the Houston Texans!  Ball so hard.

Winner: Spider Pig

Charlotte Hornets v. I'm Coming Home.
Abraham's team has shown signs of weakness as of late, and Duke might be able to capitalize big time this week on that.  I'm not off that Josh Gordon horse yet, either.  Duke probably won't get that 1st seed for the playoffs, even with a win, but he'll probably get a little bit closer after his victory this week.

Winner: I'm Coming Home.

Thursday, November 20, 2014

Predictions: Week 12

Week 11 Predictions Record: (5-1)
Overall Predictions Record: (38-28)

Hey I think I'm getting the hang of this predicting thing!  And then watch me get everything wrong this week.  Is anyone even affected by this Thursday night game between KC and Oakland?  Besides Jamaal Charles / Andrew, who even doesn't care anymore?  I don't think I could even name 3 players on Oakland's team, to be honest.  Let's see.. Darren McFadden... James Jones... and... that's all I got.

*~*Game Of The Week*~*

Both teams have made the playoffs, but these two heavyweights will battle it out for playoff position this week.  A win would put Duke in much better position to surprisingly grab the #1 spot, but a loss could send Duke into the final week at 4th, only to face Abraham, which could knock him down as far as 6th.  Jeff could also find his way up to #1 with a win, but a loss could be even more potentially devastating - possibly pushing him down to 6th by this time next week.  We shall see.

Seenie J v. I'm Coming Home.
I'm still not sure what to think of Josh Gordon, but I'm going to stay away from the bold prediction for now and say that Gordon won't blow anyone's socks off in his season debut.  He could easily prove me wrong, though.  With that said, I'm still liking Jeff to rebound from last week's loss, especially with Luck against an easy defense.

Winner: Seenie J

Remaining Games

Odoyle rules! v. DeMarco Da Murrier
Let's make a deal, Justina.  I'll start Justin Reed if you start Greg Olsen.  Deal.  This is a must-win game for Justina to stay relevant in the playoff picture.  It's an important win for my team as well, but I could still conceivably make the playoffs even with a loss, just like the Panthers could still conceivably make the playoffs with a 5-10-1 record.  Ridiculous.  Justina needs it worse than I do, so I'm going to guess she wins it out of sheer will.  Or lose it, out of a sheer lack thereof.

Winner: DeMarco Da Murrier

Unicorn Burps v. Terrific Tortoises
David Li's WRs are not as scary without Kelvin Benjamin, and David Lin's QB (Brady) will likely show up David Li's (McCown).  It might just come down to how the RB situation plays out - Arian Foster is Questionable, but so is Gio - who will end up scoring more points?  I'm liking David Lin's chances in this one.

Winner: Unicorn Burps

jaMAULing time v. #myteamSUCKS
What can I say?  Eric's team is rollin'!

Winner: #myteamSUCKS

The Pain Train v. Chou Chainz
Both teams are still fighting for a glimmer of hope to make the playoffs, although their chances are slimming by the minute.  Lacy will probably continue to give Gabs a ton of points, but I'm not sure it'll be enough against Aaron and his duo of opportunistic backup RBs.  For the second time in a row, I'm actually liking Aaron's chances in this one.  Surprise, surprise.

Winner: Chou Chainz

Charlotte Hornets v. Spider Pig
Luke's team has fallen into a rut, and I'm not convinced this will be the week he pulls out of it.  Even without Antonio Brown, Abraham's got enough firepower at WR to give Luke another L.

Winner: Charlotte Hornets

Thursday, November 13, 2014

Predictions: Week 11

Week 10 Predictions Record: (5-1)
Overall Predictions Record: (33-27)

I got one of the two upsets right!  So this is what it feels like to win at something...

*~*Game Of The Week*~*

In what could very well be a preview of the championship game, this week's GOTW pits two heavyweights against each other in a regular season battle for first place in the league.

Seenie J v. Charlotte Hornets
IMO, this game boils down to: can Andrew Luck + Jeff's RBs oust Abraham's WRs?  I think Abraham will pull out this win in this one, even with some favorable matchups for Jeff (Luck v. NE as a shootout, Forte v. Minnesota).  It should be a fun one to follow, though.

Winner: Charlotte Hornets

Remaining Games

Odoyle rules! v. Spider Pig
I've all but given up.  That should tell you enough, right?

Winner: Spider Pig

DeMarco Da Murrier v. Terrific Tortoises
I am under the impression that Justina has all but given up as well.  I mean, if I were them, I would be down for fixing this game as well.  Might as well have one of the two of them in the playoffs vs. the possibility of none of them in the playoffs, right?

Winner: Terrific Tortoises

Unicorn Burps v. #myteamSUCKS
It worked last week, so I'm calling it now - Eric's had a pretty beastly 4 of the last 5 weeks, and has even out-performed David Lin's team 4 of the last 5 weeks.  Eric's team seems to be on a roll, so #UpsetCity, here Eric comes!  ...even though he's starting Bryce Brown lulz.  At least it's not Boobie Dixon doublelulz.  Who names their kid Boobie?

Winner: #myteamSUCKS

jaMAULing time v. Chou Chainz
So much for Aaron trying to make a late-season run with Peyton and Co.  That veto sucks, doesn't it?  Regardless, he might still get a little run going back up this week, since it looks like Andrew has left the building.

Winner: Chou Chainz

The Pain Train v. I'm Coming Home.
Gabs is coming off a high week 10 performance, but I don't think his momentum will be enough to overcome Duke's strong squad.  Still putting that warning out there - watch out for Duke's team once Josh Gordon takes the field.

Winner: I'm Coming Home

Thursday, November 6, 2014

Predictions: Week 10

Week 9 Predictions Record: (4-2)
Overall Predictions Record: (28-26)

*~*Game Of The Week*~*

This week's GOTW comes chock full of playoff implcations, not just for the two teams involved, but for other bottom-dwellers fighting for those last few spots.  Eric needs a win to stay relevant, while Justina needs a win just to stop her 2-game losing skid and stay securely in the land of the 8.  Cannot handle the drama.

DeMarco Da Murrier v. #myteamSUCKS
Not sure who Eric will end up starting at RB, but I think Aaron Rodgers + Jordy + Emmanuel Sanders + Martellus is going to put up plenty of points to continue his roll into playoff contention.  Justina might be asking even more questions come Tuesday.  That moment when you realize one game could potentially take you from 6th place to... 10th place.

Winner: #myteamSUCKS

Remaining Games

Odoyle rules! v. Terrific Tortoises
David's going to need his WRs to show up in a big way to pull out a win this week.  I think it'll be a pretty close match, but I'm not convinced my RBs will have enough steam in them to overcome with David's WRs are going to throw at me.  His WRs have scary potential.  But if David beats me because Cam Newton and Kelvin Benjamin destroyed the Eagles on MNF, I could live with that.

Winner: Terrific Tortoises

Unicorn Burps v. Chou Chainz
If Gio stays hurt, Aaron's chances are much better.  Assuming Aaron updates his roster before Sunday, it'll still be an uphill battle for his team against David's stacked group.  Like I mentioned in my previous post, last week's performance from Aaron's team was a one-week fluke.  At least David hopes so.

Winner: Unicorn Burps

jaMAULing time v. I'm Coming Home.
Slightly poor planning on Andrew's part has 4 of his 5 WRs on bye this week.  Good luck starting Jericho Cotchery and Muhsin Muhammed aka The Old Ppl Club.  Ricky Proehl might be available, too, last time I checked.  Even if Duke pulls the "I'm not dropping anyone because of their bye week" stunt again, he should be able to win this one easily.

Winner: I'm Coming Home.

The Pain Train v. Charlotte Hornets
Even if Philip Rivers is on bye, I'm not betting against Abraham's team.  Philip Rivers was basically on bye last week, too.  With that said, there is huge upset potential in this game.  Gabs has an improving Eddie Lacy, a come-from-nowhere Martavis Bryant, and Julius Thomas against a weak Oakland team.  Don't dismiss Gabs's team too quickly, now.  But Abraham's team has just been too good.  Too good.

Winner: Charlotte Hornets

Seenie J v. Spider Pig
This will be an interesting matchup.  Neither team will be at full force - Jeff will be sorely missing Andrew Luck (and as always, Tom Brady - Jeff sends his hugs and kisses, Tom)
...wait I just lost my train of thought.  Oh yes, Jeff will be missing Andrew Luck and slightly missing Malcolm Floyd and Dwayne Allen), while Luke will be without Arian Foster, Jerrick McKinnon, and Antonio Gates.  All players play crucial roles in both teams' scoring abilities, so it'll be interesting to see how both are able to adapt.  I have a feeling Jeff will have an easier time replacing his missing pieces - Sanchez is up against an easy Panthers D, while both of Luke's bench RBs are up against tough defenses.

Winner: Seenie J

Thursday, October 30, 2014

Predictions: Week 9

Week 8 Predictions Record: (2-4)
Overall Predictions Record: (24-24)

Clearly, my predicting prowess is only on-par with pure guess-work, and only slightly better than my fantasy team's ability to win so #whatsthepoint?

*~*Game Of The Week*~*

David Lin's team once again makes GOTW, and once again, it's against (on paper) a tough team.

Unicorn Burps v. I'm Coming Home.
Every week I vote against Duke's team, and every week he pulls something off.  Yahoo! projections says his team has a 68% chance of losing to David's team, but they also project Mason Crosby to have 4.91 points on their bye week.  Yahoo! is so dumb.  But I'll have to agree with their prediction on this one.  If AnneJulie Green plays, I like David's chances.  Even with Shady the Plague in his lineup.

Winner: Unicorn Burps

Remaining Games

Odoyle rules! v. #myteamSUCKS
I'm not betting on my team anymore.  Only to get my hopes up and then dashed.  I like my chances a little better with Beast Mode, but I'm still not getting my hopes up.  Eli was a good pickup for Eric, seeing as how he'll be passing all day with Luck and crew destroying the Giants.  Emmanuel Sanders will probably blow up again, knowing my luck.  Don't discount this game.  Eric and I are going to fight hard for that last playoff spot.  And this is one important battle towards victory for either team.

Winner: #myteamSUCKS

DeMarco Da Murrier v. Chou Chainz
No analysis needed.

Winner: DeMarco Da Murrier

jaMAULing time v. Charlotte Hornets
Not going to lie, I think Andrew's going to put up a good fight.  Abraham is just on freaking fire, and I'm not sure Jamaal has enough to counter that.  And how about them Hornets??  Kemba Walker is so #clutchmoney.  Ok, so what it was against the Bucks, but still.  Changing the name back, getting the colors back, re-designing a sick court - I'm loving it and don't remember the last time I was as excited for an NBA season as this season.  I hope the real Hornets do as well as this Hornets team.

Winner: Charlotte Hornets

The Pain Train v. Seenie J
Drew Brees might blow up against the Panthers, but Luck should easily demolish the Giants.  Maclin continues to be a good move on Jeff's part, and even though Jeff will be without his workhorse Matt Forte, Gabs is starting Doug Martin, who is accurately projected by Yahoo! as getting 0.00 points.  Gabs, want to consider trading Orange Julius for a better RB option?

Winner: Seenie J

Terrific Tortoises v. Spider Pig
Tough matchup for David this week, since Luke's team has been doing relatively well as of late.  Palmer should get significant points against Dallas, as should Demaryius and Arian Foster against their respective teams.  David's got fewer things going his way with Gio likely out and some bye week unfortunates.

Winner: Spider Pig

Thursday, October 23, 2014

Predictions: Week 8

Week 7 Predictions Record: (2-4)
Overall Predictions Record: (22-20)

I will say that this week, more so than previous weeks, has the most potential for upsets.  I didn't predict any, but I wouldn't be surprised if Aaron beat me, Andrew beat Jeff, and Eric beat David Li.  I want to say at least one of those upsets is going to happen.  Which might make my predictions irrelevant, if I'm predicting against my predictions, but whatever.

*~*Game Of The Week*~*

David Lin's team once again makes GOTW, and once again, it's against a tough team.

Unicorn Burps v. Charlotte Hornets
QB
It'll be a shootout between Manning and Rivers.  Have to go with Manning riding his record-breaking weekend momentum into Thursday night, though.
Advantage: Unicorn Burps

WR
It looks like AcidJazz Green might be out for another week.  Without him, David's WRs are no match for Abraham's.  Even with him, David's WRs fall short.
Advantage: Charlotte Hornets

RB
Marshawn should run all over Carolina, and Abraham is left scratching his head about what to do with his RB2 spot.  Uh oh.
Advantage: Unicorn Burps

TE
Neither TE is that great (Reed doesn't have a decent QB throwing to him), but Reed shows more promise.
Advantage: Charlotte Hornets

K/DEF
Miami D should stuff Jacksonville pretty easily.  Gostkowski is still #1 Kicker, too.
Advantage: Charlotte Hornets

Winner: Charlotte Hornets
Abraham's team is going to have to win with its WRs, and I think it's doable.  Assuming he finds an RB2 that can get him at least 5 points (which might be a big assumption), I think his team will do what it's done the first half of the season - surprise me with winning games it probably shouldn't be winning.

Remaining Games

Odoyle rules! v. Chou Chainz

Winner: Odoyle rules!
All I'm going to say is I better not lose this one.

DeMarco Da Murrier v. I'm Coming Home.
QB
I never thought I'd meet the day when I saw Tony Romo winning a matchup against Matthew Stafford.  But Dallas has been beasting it.
Advantage: I'm Coming Home.

WR
Justina benefits from having VJax back in her lineup, but Duke's got a WR corps filled with big names.  However, I think that's all they are - big names, no substance.  Especially Fitzgerald.
Advantage: DeMarco Da Murrier

RB
Dat DeMarco + LaMiller combo doe.
Advantage: DeMarco Da Murrier

TE
I'm surprising myself a little here, but I think Olsen will be heavily relied upon when Carolina is trying to play catch up from behind and Cam desperately needs someone to throw it to.  Granted, the Patriots could be in the same predicament.  But I like Olsen better in this one for some inexplicable reason.
Advantage: DeMarco Da Murrier

K/DEF
Only because Pittsburgh Defense against Indy probably won't do so hot.
Advantage: DeMarco Da Murrier

Winner: DeMarco Da Murrier
Ok, maybe this will be the week that begins Duke's team's slide.  Or maybe I should stop hating on Duke's team.

WILSONNNN v. Seenie J
QB
I have a feeling Russell is going to tear Carolina's Defense to shreds.
Advantage: WILSONNNN

WR
Jeff has Maclin back, but I actually think Andrew's WRs will do better this week.  Just a hunch.
Advantage: WILSONNNN

RB
Even if Jamaal doesn't have a concussion and doesn't sit out on Sunday, Jeff's RBs have proven themselves throughout the season.  And I don't know why he's so stingy about Sproles.  It's not like he'll be playing this Sunday anyways, so he won't do much better than Andrew's other RB - Jonathan Stew... oh wait, nvmd.
Advantage: Seenie J

TE
Dwayne Allen has Andrew Luck throwing to him.  Jordan Cameron has... wait, who is Cleveland's QB right now?  Tim Tebow?
Advantage: Seenie J

K/DEF
Seattle's Defense has been pretty atrocious, and even though they're up against Carolina, I'm slightly favoring Philly D, even up against Arizona.
Advantage: Seenie J

Winner: Seenie J
I think this one will be closer than you may think.  I wouldn't be surprised if Andrew pulled out the upset.  He wants that last playoff spot bad.

The Pain Train v. Spider Pig
QB
Matt Ryan hasn't been super impressive.  We'll go with Brees on this one.
Advantage: The Pain Train

WR
Demaryius, however, will probably outscore all three of Gabs's WRs.
Advantage: Spider Pig

RB
And I wouldn't be surprised if Arian Foster scored more than both of Gabs's RBs.
Advantage: Spider Pig

TE
Julius Thomas may have had a setback, but he'll be needed this Thursday in the Denver-San Diego shootout.
Advantage: The Pain Train

K/DEF
Gabs may have a slight advantage with Hauschka against Carolina and KC Defense against St. Louis.  But the advantage is ever so slight.
Advantage: The Pain Train

Winner: Spider Pig
Gabs wins in category numbers, but the deficit of his losses at WR and RB will be too large to earn his team a victory.  My, how the mighty have fallen.

#myteamSUCKS v. Terrific Tortoises
QB
Aaron Rodgers is going to destroy New Orleans D.
Advantage: #myteamSUCKS

WR
David's wise patience and planning at this position will continue to pay off as his two rookies will flourish in their respective games.  Even with Eric's tricky Denard Robinson WR/RB play.
Advantage: Terrific Tortoises

RB
Eric does a good job in picking up Tre Mason, and he may actually be a solid rest-of-the-season pickup, too.  Unlike someone else Eric picked up earlier in the season (starts with a K and rhymes with Bile).  But let's be real, Gio Bernard had a bad week last week and will bounce back this week.
Advantage: Terrific Tortoises

TE
Bennett is questionable, so I'd rather bet on the TE that will likely play.
Advantage: Terrific Tortoises

K/DEF
Both teams have Defenses that are in favorable matchups, but I think Eric's Kicker will give him the slight edge here.
Advantage: #myteamSUCKS

Winner: Terrific Tortoises
David needs some redemption after a poor showing last week.  Against a struggling Eric's team, this is a good week for that redemption.
