Week 1 Power Rankings

In an effort to only spend less than an hour per week on this blog, here is the Power Rankings minus all the flair.

Week 1 Power Rankings:

1. Saved by the Bell (1-0) [Previous Rank: 1]
Technically he won, but it wasn't a glorious victory.  Le'Veon and Gronk should bounce back.  And Kareem Hunt only made him stronger.  My apologies again to the league.  I am a fool of fools, and I might never forgive myself for that trade.

2. Spider Pig (1-0) [2]
With Zeke now slated to play all season, Luke's team looks pretty nice.  His success will probably depend a lot on how his WRs play.

3. choubacca (1-0) [7]
Aaron scored the most points in Week 1 without much help from David Johnson.  He'll have to keep doing that, now that Johnson is out for a while.  Looks like he took to his draft strategy and spent most of his FAAB money Week 1.  I'm not surprised - I'm just curious to see how it will work out for him.

4. errrydayimRUSSELLin (1-0) [9]
Wow, if old men Shady and Beast Mode can keep it up, Eric might be moving on up.  His WRs aren't looking too shabby, either.

5. Maybabyboo (1-0) [4]
While not an impressive win, and hence the reason for a bump down in the rankings, Laura pulled off her first win Week 1, which is always a good way to start the season.  Picking up Jason Witten ended up paying off.

6. Keenan Kick It? (1-0) [5]
The loss of Robinson will be big, but Justina's other WRs actually did decently, as did Melvin Gordon.  Plus, she got a win, albeit with the lowest winning score.

7. I Called Game (0-1) [6]
Duke's team doesn't look amazing, but Fournette is all that Jacksonville has to rely on, and I think Duke can get some quality points from his other players from week to week.

8. Di Yi (0-1) [3]
Abraham's team fell flat the first week, but it has the pieces to potentially bounce back.  Or continue dropping...

9. Terrific Tortoises (0-1) [8]
David's team probably isn't as bad as he thinks it is.  As much as I hate to admit it, Tom Brady probably just had an off week and will only score more points in future weeks.  If not, David might be regretting the moniez he spent on that punk.  David's aggressiveness on the first week of FAAB bidding might end up making up for it, though.

10. Gabs (0-1) [10]
I can't get excited about anyone on Gabs's roster except Aaron Rodgers.  Sure, Gillislee had a big game, but it still wasn't enough to help Gabs get a reachable win.

11. Unicorn Queen (0-1) [11]
I don't even want to talk about my team.

12. El Jefe (0-1) [12]
I told you his team was garbage.  And yes, even more garbage than mine.
